If your phone notifies you that an update is available, follow the instructions shown on your 
phone.  

•

 

For everyday operation, power up the unit by pushing the Power Button on the side of the mobile 
device. 

•

 

Select either the Loose Diamond Tray or the Jewelry tray, seat it on the Slide-In Tray, and push the 
tray into the machine. 

•

 

The device will turn on and the home screen will display an icon labelled DRC. Tap this button and wait for 
the scanning program to load and display the DRC  J-Mini
