Turn on the shower generator switch. The actual concentration value is displayed in the left
display frame. This button is also a ping-pong button. Press it again to turn off the eluent
generator. If it is under the gradient mode, press this button to complete the gradient operation at
the same time. If an external eluent generator is connected, the software will automatically
identify when it is started, and "Eluent (external)" will be displayed in the eluent area after
correct identification. At the same time, a "Gradient Setting" button will be added to the gradient
interface.

This button is to download the input gradient data to the external eluent generator. After
successful download, the downloaded gradient data can be found on the LCD screen of the
external eluent generator. Click the "Start" button to start the external eluent switch, and then
click the "Injection Trigger" button to start the gradient operation of the external eluent and start
spectrogram collection.
4 Instrument Operation and Maintenance
4.1 Start-up
Turn on the power supply of CIC-D100 instrument, and the status of each component of the
instrument is shown in Table 4-1. Start the reverse control software, fill the eluent bottle with
eluent, and drain the bubbles in the infusion pump.
