the ear. Use a connector or prick pincers to connect the
telephone line and check if the telephone device works.
Testing for leaks
Press both breathing hoses of the closed-circuit breathing
apparatus tightly together and inhale until negative
pressure is generated in the full face mask.
Hold your breath for a moment.
If the negative pressure is not maintained, either pull the
strap kit tighter or adjust the position of the mask fastening
plate on the helmet
2)
.
Repeat the test twice.

Use
Use the rotary knob to operate the screen wiper whenever
the visor fogs up.
Fluid Intake During Operation
Pull the drinking valve from the cap, then remove the
protective cap from the drinking valve.
Use the coupling of the drinking tube to connect it to the
drinking valve.
To drink, swivel the drinking valve back a little until the
mouthpiece can be held comfortably in the mouth.
To drink, bite gently on the mouthpiece and suck in the
drinking fluid.
After drinking, swivel the drinking valve fully out of the cap
again until the mouthpiece no longer interferes.
After use, disconnect the drinking tube coupling from the
drinking valve.
Use the protective cap to protect the drinking valve before
putting it back into the cap.
Extreme Operating Conditions
High temperatures/Thermal cycling
The coating may dissolve in some places on visors marked
with PCas or APECas. The function of the mask will not be
restricted as a result. It will continue to be usable until the end
of the deployment. Replace visor after use.
Chemicals
Some substances may be absorbed by the material of the
Dräger FPS 7000 RP and Panorama Nova RP and may
possibly diffuse into them. Further information can be obtained
from Dräger.
