Anti-theft frame
The anti-theft frame is fixed on the G4 frame and allows you to lock the
rear wheel quickly for a temporary halt.
Ensure to unlock the anti-theft frame properly, be-
fore retracting the kickstand of your cargo bike, as
you risking bending or even breaking the spokes, if
you try moving the bike, while the anti-theft frame
remains closed.
The anti-theft frame only offers temporary protec-
tion and little security, as it does not keep your G4 at
any fixed position.
For longer parking, improve security with an an-
ti-theft chain, such as the one delivered with your G4
or an anti-theft U-clamp.
G4 motor
Your G4 is supplied with a motor, which classes it under the cate-
gory of Electric Bicycle (EB). The legislation in effect on using an EB
is likely to vary from one country to another, so please refer to the
legislation of the country in which you are using your G4.
The BROSE motor is composed of a battery with a capacity of 636
Wh, a Brose Drive S motor and a display unit. It is supplied with a
4 Amperes charger.
The electric assistance is turned off as soon as the
battery passes under the 10% limit. The display and
headlights remain functional for approximately 60
minutes, until the system is completely shut down.
BROSE display unit
The BROSE display is located to the left of the handlebar. It consists of
5 physical buttons, to access different options and a screen to display
information and menus. The physical buttons allow to turn the system
on and off, adjust the assistance level: Eco / Tour / Sport / Boost, turn
on/off the headlights and turn on the walking assistance to a speed up
to 5km/h.
