Setting

Settings Related to 64K Data Communication

The description here explains how to set up the 64K data communication connection without using

the “FOMA PC

Dial-up Connection and TCP/IP setup

The settings for dial-up connection and TCP/IP for 64K data communication are the same as those

for packet communication. (

Note the following:

You do not need to set an access point name (APN) for 64K data communication. For the access

point for dial-up connection, enter the phone number of the access point specified by the Internet

service provider or the network administrator. (To connect to “mopera U”, enter “

8701” or to

connect to “mopera”, enter “

9601” in the phone number field.)

Set caller ID notified/not notified and other settings if necessary. 

(To connect to “mopera U” or “mopera”, you need to notify your caller ID.)

Contact your Internet service provider or network administrator for details of the settings.
