Problems Relating to AT Commands
●
Either change the setup for the PC or other devices, or set
the FOMA terminal to “
エコーバックなし
(No echo back)”. (For
the setup for the PC or other devices, see the instruction
manual for them or the communications software.)
Double characters will be displayed when the PC or other devices
are set to “
入力した文字をターミナル画面上に表示する
(Show entered
characters on the terminal display)” (Echo function on), and the
FOMA terminal is also set to “
エコーバックあり
(Echo back on)”.
When you enter AT,
the display shows
AATT
Cannot call
automatically
Cannot redial

(ATEn)
●
Either set the ER signal to ON or enter the AT&D0
command.
●
Set the S7 register to a value larger than the default.
Sometimes it is difficult to connect because of radio wave conditions.

(ATS7=n)
●
Enter the ATDN or ATDL command correctly.
●
Make sure you are not trying to redial within the call out
restriction.
You can redial four times during the first three minutes, then only
once every three minutes after that.

Entering a
command results
in display of
“ERROR”
●
Confirm the following points:
・
Make sure that you have entered the correct command.
・
Make sure that you have selected the FOMA terminal, not an
internal modem or other such device.
Confirm the properties in the terminal software.

Forgot the escape
character
●
Enter “ATS2=43”.
The escape character will return to the initial value (+).
154
(ATS2=n)
Escape character is
entered but “OK” is
not displayed
●
Confirm the following points:
・
Make sure that you have entered a character that is set up in the
S2 register.
The initial escape character is “+”.
・
Make sure that the S2 register is not set to the value 127.
Setting this to 127 cancels escape.
・
Make sure that the escape character guard time is not set too short
or too long.
・
Make sure that the command to display result codes (ATQ0) is in
effect.
