Sets the access point name (APN) for packet communication dialing.

+CGDCONT=[<cid>[,"PPP"[,"<APN>"]]]

Explanation of parameters
Sets the access point name (APN) for packet communication dialing. For a setting example, see
the following command execution example:

: 1 to 10

<cid> is a number managing the access point name (APN) that is registered in the FOMA
terminal for packet communication. The FOMA terminal allows “1” to “10” to be registered.
“mopera.ne.jp” is registered in <cid>=1, and “mopera.net” is registered in <cid>=3, each at
purchase.
<APN> is an arbitrary character string representing each access point.

Operation when a parameter is omitted.
+CGDCONT=: Sets every <cid> to their initial values.
+CGDCONT=<cid>: Sets the specified <cid> to its initial value.
+CGDCONT=?: Displays a list of values that can be set.
+CGDCONT?: Displays the current setting.

Command execution example
AT+CGDCONT=2,"PPP","abc"

Command to register “abc” as an APN (when cid is “2”)

Though this is a setting command, it is not stored in the nonvolatile memory written in by [&W].
It is not reset by [&F] or [Z], either.
