Packet communication is a communication method that divides up data into units called packets. As
the communication charge applies according to the amount of data you send and receive, no
charges apply while you are not communicating (not sending or receiving data), even when you are
connected to the FOMA network.
In order to connect using packet communication, use an access point that supports FOMA packet
communication, such as the DoCoMo's Internet connection service “mopera U” or “mopera”. You can
send and receive data also by accessing a LAN that is connected to the FOMA network.

To use “mopera U”, subscription (charged) is required. To use “mopera”, subscription and monthly
charge are not required.

The FOMA terminal does not support Remote Wakeup.
