SETTINGS 

All settings are made directly on the back of the device through potentiometers or jumpers. On the back of the 
OD-Presence there are 3 status LEDs, which shows the actual status of the device, too.   

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

Light 

Determinates the threshold of ambient brightness for enabling or disabling the relay contact for motion detection; 
the brightness is measured by the integrated twilight sensor. Than more the potentiometer is set to “-Night”, than 
darker it must be for enabling the relay contact of the OD-Presence for signalling motion detection. If the 
potentiometer is set to the maximum “+Day” the twilight sensor has no more influence on the relay contact and 
it will react on every motion detection. 

 

Time Delay

 

Determinates how long after a motion detection the relay contact shall be closed, for example to switch on a 
light. If the potentiometer is rotated in clockwise direction the time delay is increased. This time delay will only 
start if the twilight sensor has enabled the relay contact; if the twilight sensor is not used it will start on every 
motion detection. The time delay can be defined between 5 seconds and 30 minutes.
