For example from IP address 192.168.0.100 the door opener of OD-Sip Plus should be activated for 10 seconds
through remote control. The resulting UDP data is the following:
- BSREM
- C0A80064 (192 = “C0”, 168 = “A8”, 0 = “00”, 100 = “64” by converting decimal to hexadecimal).
- 00 (sequence number 0= „00“ as hexadecimal number)
- 1 (relay 1 door opener)
- 0A (duration of 10 seconds, converted in hexadecimal it will be „0A“ )
- 1234 (standard authentication „1234“)
The result is „BSREMC0A800640010A1234“ and the Checksum is calculated as follows:

Alternatively the OPENDOOR UDP Calculator can be used to calculate the UDP commands with Checksum in an
easy way; the OPENDOOR UDP calculator can be downloaded together with the documentation.
Then divide the sum through 256:
1275/256 = 4
Then calculate the rest of this division:
1275 – (4 x 256) = 251
This rest must be converted into a 2 byte hexadecimal number:
251 = FB
This 2 byte hexadecimal number is the Checksum and is added at the end of the UDP
data (behind the authentication password):
