The previously created sample „the_sample.wav“ will be converted to „holdmusic.dat” and saved in the same
location; Only the newly created file “holdmusic.dat” can be uploaded to the OD-Sip Plus.
For creating a ringtone the procedure is the same, with the only difference that the name of the final binary file
must be „ringtone.dat“ instead of „holdmusic.dat“.
2.4.7 RESET TO FACTORY SETTINGS
If the IP address of the OD-Sip Plus should be forgotten, it is possible to reset the OD-Sip Plus to factory settings:
IP address: 192.168.1.200
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Password: 1234
The procedure is the following:
• Power off the OD-Sip Plus
• Set the small switch „J3“ to position „LF“ (Load Factory); the switch is accessible through the cut-out
on the left side of the OD-Sip Plus:
• Power on the OD-Sip Plus
• Wait until OD-Sip Plus has booted and the automatic start sequence is finished.
• Acknowledge sound and LED 1 + 2 (red/yellow) are on
•
Afterwards LED2 (red) is on and LED1 (yellow) is blinking
• Switch „J3“ to position „OFF“. The OD-Sip Plus will automatically reboot and the procedure is finished.
Hint : The reset to factory settings can also be done through software like explained in chapter 2.4.4.1.
