USERS   

The OD-Cam may have multiple users with different access rights. In this section you can manage existing users 
and add or remove users. 

The first function on this page allows to choose the desired action to perform: change, add or delete a user. The 
default view is the one you see here. When you make your choice, the following options change accordingly. 
Existing users (admin and viewer are there by default) may be given a different access level, or their password 
may be changed. 

The access levels are: 

•

 

No rights:

 The user is deactivated. Corresponds to the value 0. ( the access level as numeric value is 

shown in brackets after each access level name.) 

•

 

Viewer

: This user access level allows to access image and video data. Such a user (named “viewer”) is 

available by default. Value 2. 

•

 

Remote control:

 This level offers the same rights as the viewer level plus access to remote control. 

Value 4. 

•

 

Administrator:

 This level has no access limitations. The default user “admin” belongs to this access 

level (default password is “1234”). Value 8.
