Service Precautions

Working Under Drilling Unit

Before working under area of drilling unit

supported by a cylinder

, make sure drilling unit is parked on

hard surface.

Remove cylinder locks from storage at rear of pipe box and place over extended cylinder rods (shown)
with curved ends toward stabilizer shoes.

Lower unit until load is supported by cylinder locks.

Replace cylinder locks if damaged.

Crushing weight could cause death or serious injury. Stay

away.
