Electro-mechanical Access Control
The optional access control head module EM (electromechanical) for the upper chassis (
protects against unauthorized opening and access. When trying to open the system, sensors are used to
determine whether there are banknotes in the upper unit of the recycling module or cash dispenser. If
there are banknotes in the upper unit, the upper chassis door is locked with both the access control head
module EM (electromechanical) and upper chassis door key lock. For more information about accessing

NOTE
When using the access control head module EM (electromechanical), is not possi-
ble to open the upper chassis door lock with the key alone. The system can only be
opened with the key and with additional authorization or activation of the access
control head module EM (electromechanical).
Depending on the application, you have one of the following options for unlocking the access control
head module EM (electromechanical):

By opening the safe door
•
By turning the key in the door lock of the upper chassis door
NOTE
After unlocking the access control head module EM (electromechanical), you can
turn the key in the door lock of the upper chassis door.
