the dial at least one full turn counterclock-
wise and then at least four turns clockwise.

Close the front door or the standard/design door depending on the system used (refer to the sys-
tem-specific operating manual, chapter "Basic operation").

5.12 Accessing the Upper Chassis - Access Control Head Module EM
(electromechanical)
NOTE
When using the access control head module EM (electromechanical), is not possi-
ble to open the upper chassis door lock with the key alone. The system can only be
opened with the key and with additional authorization or activation of the access
control head module EM (electromechanical).
NOTE
After unlocking the access control head module EM (electromechanical), you can
turn the key in the door lock of the upper chassis door.
Perform the following steps to unlock the access control head module EM (electromechanical) if there
are banknotes in the upper unit, the upper chassis door is locked with both the access control head mod-
ule EM (electromechanical) and upper chassis door key lock.
NOTE
To unlock the access control head module EM (electromechanical) you will need a
9V battery. The 9V battery is not included and must be obtained separately.
