Modules - Shutting Down and Starting Up
There are two ways to shut down and start up the modules in the system. One way is to press and hold
the service (wrench) button for 5 seconds to turn the modules off. If the service (wrench) button is
pressed and held again the modules will power back on.
The second way to shut down the modules is through T/SOP. T/SOP provides the ability to remove
power from individual system devices using the external control unit. All modules that are powered by
the power rails will have a power off or power on function available in T/SOP from the Device Overview
screen (see
). This module-specific power off and power on function will be limited to power off
and power on for the power rail that the powers the specific module. Notice that modules that share the
same power rail will also be powered off and on.
Also refer to the
Technical Service and Operating (T/SOP) for ProBase/C and ProBase/J User Manual
for more information.
