System Power (on/off) Button
The system power button (see
) allows the operator to turn the system on and off. The LED
will be off, but there is still AC power present at the power supply. When the system is on, the LED will
be lit. The LED does not blink.
Press the system power button for 5 seconds to turn off the system (including hubs). It may take several
minutes for the system to completely turn off. When the system does turn off, the ON/OFF LED will then
turn off.
WARNING
To completely remove AC power to the system, the system power cord must be removed
from its receptacle or the AC power to the system must be removed at the quick discon-
nect device (such as a circuit breaker) for the system.
Press the system power button to turn on the system. The ON/OFF LED lights up. After the system has
completely powered up, the operating system of the system loads.
Battery Option Present
The battery option present LEDs can indicate various battery states.

Neither LED is On
Indicates there is no battery backup (UPS) present.
Top green LED is On
Indicates that UPS is present and the batteries are fully charged.
Bottom red LED is On
Indicates that the UPS is present and the batteries are partially charged
Bottom red LED is flashing [1] Indicates that the UPS is present and the batteries are severely dis-
charged.
[1] The system will not automatically power-on in this state when AC power returns. Once the batteries
are partially charged (bottom red LED On solid, the system will power itself back on. The system can
also be powered on in this state by pressing the power switch.
Service Button
Pressing the wrench service button (
) initiates the service (maintenance) mode. Use T/SOP
to perform system and module maintenance procedures.
