4. Activation
4.1. General
Check, if necessary, the setting of the metering pumps.
Check in advance all connections of water, additives and electricity.

Make sure that all electrical fuses have been switched on.
A fuse is switched on when the small handle on the front stands upwards.
The motor protection is activated when the rotary switch is turned to position I.
Close the opened SBH-E guards and boxes and turn on the main switch (S2) to position 1 (= ON).
Activate the control panel in the washing room and test the installation on its good functioning.
If necessary, remove the key from the SBH-E electricity box and put it in a safe place.
Close up the machine room for unauthorized persons.
4.2. Product tanks
Check the content of the additive tanks at the beginning (and afterwards at regular basis).
Make sure that the suction hoses have been immersed completely in the right additive.
Check if the metering pumps have been adjusted as desired.
4.3. Control panel
Each washing room should be equipped with its proper control and instruction panel for each SBH-E.
Check the control panel on outward damage.
Depending on the coin insert and the selected programme the main SBH-E unity shall be activated.
Check the different programmes on their correct functioning.
Check the desired switching time and the coin insert in case of coin selector use.
4.4. Operation without coin selector
In order to be able to activate the operation/control box the key-operated contact should be turned to position
1. Now the green pilot light on the control box lights on. The high pressure pump can only work when the key-
operated contact is turned to this position. There is also a selector switch on the operation box, showing three
options: wax, shampoo and rinsing. The selected product shall be added automatically.
When the spray gun is operated, the pump motor shall be activated and high pressure cleaning can start.
When the spray gun has not been operated any more during 20 seconds, the pump motor shall drop out.
4.5. Operation using a coin selector
In order to be able to activate the operation/control box and the machine, the right kind of currency and the cor-
rect amount of it should be inserted. The kind of currency for the coin selector depends on the manufacturer.

The minimum amount to insert can be set on the coin selector.
The display shows the number of coins that were inserted.

ment you operate the spray gun (provided that the main box on the machine has been switched on, of course).
Now you can select the desired programme using the selector switch.
The selected product shall be added automatically. When the spray gun has not been operated any more during
20 seconds, the pump motor shall drop out. During operation the display shows the number of minutes to be
used. Once the adjusted time for 1 coin has been expired, the display will be reduced (time credit).
