2. Recoil starter cable (manually started):
The traction cable is mounted with a handle, which has to pull out calm till there can be sensed a resistance.
The freewheel clutch is now entered. Next, the cord has to be pulled out in a strong move to start the engine.
After each start (- attempt) you have to spring back the pulled cable easily. After long-time standstill or first opera-
tion, operate motor, after starting, with low adjusted speed and without load for approx. 20 sec.
It’s possible to switch on the engine manually.
If you want to start manually via the starter cable -> set the key contact to the ‘1’ position.
Rapid retraction of starter cord (kickback) will pull hand and arm toward engine faster than you can let go.
Broken bones, fractures, bruises or sprains could result.
3. Fuel valve:
The fuel valve lever may never be manipulated.
This must be always in the bottom position (coil in operation).
The fuel engine can be switched off electrically.
Note: top position -> fuel coil is bridged in this case!
Engine can only be switched off mechanically via the throttle lever of the engine.
4. Key contact - electrically started:
The key contact has 3 positions & is situated on the operating compartment:
0 = off
1 = working position (control unit will be powered on, warning indicator on)
2 = start the engine
The engine switch need to be turned to position ‘2’.
One must hold these there (no longer then 5 sec) to the engine starts.
If the engine does not start, wait 10 seconds, before trying again.
Afterwards, turn again to position ‘1’ .
5. Fuel filler cap:
There can be refueled at he diesel engine & burner by opening / loosening the filler cap of the fuel tank below the
machine (see chapter 3.2).
