Addressed Command
If you want to perform addressed commands, you can choose in “Mode” the type of
addressing to use.

Mode
Description
No Addressing
Commands are executed by all tags.
Selected tags
Commands are executed only by tags having the selected state.
Addressed using
UID
Commands are executed only by tags having a matching UID (8 hex
bytes)
Tag Information
Place a single ISO 15693 tag in radio field and click “Get Information” button to obtain
information about the tag.
You can get this way the memory organization supported by your ISO 15693 tags and
configure device’s radio as explained in section 9.2.1.
Application Family Identifier (AFI)
To set AFI of some tags, choose an addressing mode, enter AFI as a hexadecimal byte in
“AFI value” field and click “Write” button.
Click “Lock” button to protect permanently AFI from any changes.
Data Storage Format Identifier (DSFID)
To set DSFID of some tags, choose an addressing mode, enter DSFID as a hexadecimal byte
in “DSFID value” field and click “Write” button.
Click “Lock” button to protect permanently DSFID from any changes.
Tag State
ISO 15693 tags support selected and quiet states.
To change state of tags, place ISO 15693 tags in radio field, choose an addressing mode and:
Click “Select” button to select tags;
Click “Stay Quiet” button to request tags to stay quiet;
Click “Reset to Ready” to exit tags from selected or quiet states.
