Services Configuration 

Open “Service Configuration” panel by clicking on the icon 

 in the toolbar or by choosing 

“Service Configuration” in the “Device” menu. 

6.3.1

 

Heartbeat Tab 

The heartbeat is a broadcasted UDP packet sent periodically on the network via the Ethernet 
communication interface and is used for discovering the device and monitoring its proper 
operation. 

You configure the heartbeat period on this tab.

6.3.2

 

StxNG Tab 

The StxNG protocol is the native protocol of latest DIALOC ID RFID readers. 

You can configure on which TCP port of the Ethernet communication interface the device 
should listen for StxNG commands.
