7.3
Functions
7.3.1 Charging a battery
DANGER
Read and follow the information on the charger specification plate,
otherwise there is a risk of misuse resulting in serious injuries.
Damaged batteries must not be charged.
The battery can remain on the Pedelec during the charging
process. It can also be removed and charged elsewhere.
1. Connect the power cable to the battery charger.
2. Connect the charging cable to the battery charging socket (it clicks into
place).
3. Insert the mains plug into a power socket. After approximately 5-10
seconds, the green LED will flash rapidly and continuously . If it
is connected to the Pedelec, the display will switch on for a couple of
seconds before switching off again automatically.
4. The charger switches off once the battery is fully charged. The green
LED on the charger is continually on . The LEDs on the battery will go
out.
