Description

Remedy
Recuperation is not working.
a) The battery charge level is
higher than 90%.
a) Recuperation only works for a battery charge level ≤ 90%.
b) The current speed of travel is
lower than 10 km/h
b) Recuperation does not take place at speeds below 10 km/h.
c) The current speed of travel is
higher than 40 km/h
c) Recuperation performance decreases at speeds above 40 km/h.
d) The ambient temperature is
lower than 0°C
d) The battery will not charge when its cell temperature is below 0°C, and recuperation is therefore also not
possible.
e) The bicycle lighting is
switched on
e) The lighting must be switched off in order to activate recuperation.
The motor does not provide full power
a) The motor may be subject to
high temperature ranges.
a) From an electronic temperature of 80°C upwards, the performance will gradually reduce. Allow the Pedelec
to cool for approx. 10 minutes (in the shade) before resuming your journey.
b) Battery flat.
b) As the battery voltage decreases (from a charge level of <25%), the performance as well as the top speed
also reduce slightly. With an almost empty battery, the maximum speed can be 2-3 km/h below the level
when riding with a fully charged battery.
I have noticed a slight bearing play on the
rear wheel.
The drive is fitted with a floating
bearing.
In contrast to the normal bicycle wheel hubs and hub dynamos, a hub motor generates heat. This heat causes
the internal components to expand. In order to prevent the different expansion behaviour of the installed
materials from leading to an increased component stress when heat is generated, the drive is equipped with
a floating bearing. In practice this means that: When the unit is cold, you may notice a slight bearing play.
A 2-mm play measured on the brake flank of a 28" wheel is within tolerances and no cause for concern. This
bearing play will dissipate once the motor is warm.
The Pedelec does not provide any assistance
after it is switched on, what can I do?
Pedal was used too soon
When you switch on assistance during a ride, the pedals must be released for approx. 3 seconds so that the
motor assist mode can switch on.
A blue screen will appear briefly during
the start-up processfollowed by a flashing
battery icon.
Initialisation process
This is a part of the initialisation process and is no cause for concern.
The pedalling frequency and kilocalories
readings have no bearing on reality
Slight deviations
Depending on the level of assistance, a deviation of up to 20% is possible.
When the switched-off Pedelec is pushed,
the display will switch on automatically
for a few seconds before automatically
switching off again.
This behaviour is completely
normal.
In order to use the Pedelec, you will need to switch it on again manually after the automatic shutdown using
the easy-reach control.
