Fuel System:
If you have a kit built from an earlier ver-
sion of the instruction manual, it is suggested you add a
small brass tube to the fuel pickup assembly to prevent
internal tangling of the fuel pickup line. Please see the
instructions in this V3.0 manual on page 29 for more in-
formation.
Main Strut Door Attach Bracket:
New aluminum strut
collars are now available to provide bind free attachment
of the strut door to the strut. This also prevents acciden-
tal “stretching” of the spring in the old installation method
and preserves the paint on the strut. Please refer to this
V3.0 manual on page 21 for more information.
Speed Brake Hinge Reinforcement:
There is significant
force on the speed brake hinges. It will be helpful to rein-
force them with some V-Poxy as shown in the picture.
Upper Nose Strut:
Older kits have a nose gear upper
strut that measures 43 mm. A new upper strut is avail-
able that measures 48 mm. Please contact your distribu-
tor if you have the shorter upper nose gear strut for a re-
placement.
