Open area in bottom of fuse to clear control arm.
Depending on the length of the servo arm utilized, the
linkage supplied with the kit may be too long. If it is,
make up a new linkage from 4-40 all thread. Use a
Dubro Heavy Duty ball link and a 4-40 clevis. It is
recommended that you stiffen the linkage with a car-
bon fiber or brass sheath as shown in the photo.
Connect linkage and enlarge hole as needed.
Split flap linkage. With the 1” SWB arm used in the kit, length of all
thread was 3”. Finished linkage was approximately 3.75”.
Split flap linkage installed. Shown in fully deployed position. Force of
flap will act in a lineal fashion on the servo sprocket, reducing current
load.
