WARNINGS
• Sani-Tip® syringe tips are designed to function exclusively
with air/water syringes converted using a Sani-Tip®
Conversion Kit. If your syringe has not been converted for
Sani-Tip® disposable tip use, the appropriate Sani-Tip®
Conversion Kit MUST be installed before proceeding. Contact
your dealer for a complete list of available conversion kits.
• Use only adapter components and clear Sani-Tip plastic
syringe tips manufactured by DENTSPLY Professional for the
Sani-Tip® System to ensure optimal performance and safety
including reducing potential for cross-contamination. Follow
the enclosed instructions.
• For SINGLE USE ONLY. Disposable tips are not autoclavable.
Dispose after use.
• Where asepsis is required or deemed appropriate in the
best professional judgement of the DHCP, this product should
not be used.
PRECAUTIONS
• Air/water syringe users should follow the syringe and
dental unit manufacturers’ instructions to maintain water
quality and to minimize biofilm.
• When properly installed, Sani-Tip air/water syringe tips
do not contribute to cross-contamination due to retraction
of oral flora. To prevent system “suckback,” add an anti-
retraction (anti-siphon) device in an appropriate location.
Consult local sanitary codes.
• The risks of re-use include equipment malfunction and
cross-contamination.
