Bluetooth
Address
(BD_ADDR)
Bluetooth
Device Address.
Each Bluetooth
equipment is allocated a unique 48-bit device address defined by
the Bluetooth
SIG.
Bluetooth
Passkey
(PIN)
Bluetooth
Personal Identification Number.
This is a maximum of 16 bytes of passkey used to authenticate two Bluetooth
devices in pairing. Once authentication is performed, no Bluetooth
passkey input
is required for the next authentication.
Local Name
Bluetooth
Device Name.
This is a user-friendly name for the Bluetooth
Device to identify itself.
Bluetooth
Wireless Link
Wireless communications line connecting the master and slave devices.
Master
Master device that initiates and requests operations and controls slave devices.
Slave
Slave device that is network-controlled by the master device in Bluetooth
wireless communication.
