Replacing the Battery and Battery Cable Onto the
DIMM of a PERC H800 Adapter

With the old TBBU or TNVC removed from the controller, disconnect the
battery cable from both ends and press out on the battery clips inserted
through the DIMM rotating the battery out of the DIMM. See
Figure 4-15.

Unpack the new TBBU or TNVC and follow all antistatic procedures.

Insert one end of the battery cable into the connector on the DIMM and
the other end into the connector on the new battery.
NOTE:
Do not exert excessive pressure connecting the cable. It is a keyed
connector and it fits only one way.

Place the top edge of the battery over the top edge of the DIMM so that
the arms on the side of the battery fit into their sockets on the DIMM.
