Processor Thermal-Cooling Assembly

Disconnect the thermal fan cable connector from the system board.
NOTE:
The fan is a part of the thermal-cooling assembly.

Tilt the thermal-cooling assembly slightly and lift it out of the computer.

NOTICE:

static electricity from your body before you touch any of your computer's electronic
components. You can do so by touching an unpainted metal surface.
NOTE:
The original pad can be reused if the original processor and heat sink are
reinstalled together. If either the processor or heat sink is replaced, use the thermal
pad provided in the kit to ensure that thermal conductivity is achieved.
