Using Windows Power Management
Features
For Windows 98, the power management features of your Dell system can be set
through the
Power Management Properties window. For Windows Me and
Windows 2000, 000, the power management features can be set through the Power
Options Properties window. If you press <Del> when the computer restarts, your
computer’s power management features can be set through the system setup
program.
To set the power management features through Windows 98, perform the following
steps::
1. Click the Start button, point to Settings , and click Control Panel .
2. Double-click the Power Management icon.
3. Set the power management features in the Power Management Properties
window.
To set the power options features through Windows Windows Me and Windows 2000, perform
the following steps:
1. Click the Start button, point to Settings , and click Control Panel .
2. Double-click the Power Options icon.
3. Set the power management features in the Power Options Properties window.
