Removing the palm rest

Prerequisites
1. Remove the base cover .
2. Remove the battery (half-length) or the battery (full-length) , whichever applicable.
3. Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in Removing the hard drive .
4. Remove the solid-state drive/Intel Optane .
5. Remove the I/O board .
6. Remove the coin-cell battery .
7. Remove the wireless card .
8. Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 5 in Removing the heat sink .
9. Remove the speakers .
10. Remove the touchpad .
11. Remove the display assembly .
12. Remove the system board .
13. Remove the power-button board .
14. Remove the power-adapter port .
15. Remove the keyboard .
Procedure
After performing the steps in the pre-requisites, we are left with the palm rest.
