For guidance on locating the unit’s IP address via a serial port connection, please see below:
Locating the unit IP address using the serial port
1.
�ith the mains power off, connect a standard 9DF-9DF RS232 communications cable from
the �C to one of the serial port connections on the rear of the unit.
2.
On the �C, click Start->�rograms->�ccessories->Communications->Hyperterminal and
create a new connection �ia the CO� port using these settings.

�ower the unit, the �ower ��D on the unit will illuminate.

Hyperterminal will display the communications information as the unit boots up. This will
include the �� address, Subnet and Gateway.
