Lamborghini Countach LP 500S

The headlamps

To raise the headlamps, push the part of the
headlamp link bar projecting from the underbody
(circled). To lower the lamps, gently push them back
down again.

The steering

The front wheels can be moved left or right by
turning the steering wheel. However, because of the
weight of the model, it is recommended that you lift
the front of the car slightly when operating the
steering wheel.

The doors

To open the door, push up on the door lock (circled),
and then lift the door up. To close the door, push it
back down until you feel a click as it locks into place.

Pressing the accelerator pedal (far right) while the
ignition key is in the cylinder will rev the engine, and
pressing the brake pedal (centre) will illuminate the
brake lights.

The steering column switches

The left steering column lever has two
functions: pushing the lever in will sound
the horn, and pulling it back will turn the
lights on. Pulling it back again will turn
the high beam on, and pulling it a third
time will turn the lights off. When you
insert the ignition key into the cylinder,
the engine sound will start.

The covers

The bonnet and rear compartment cover are opened
and closed manually, and held up by the extending
stays. To hold the engine cover open, insert the end
of the stay into the hole in the wheel box.

The pedals

Pushing the lever in will

sound the horn.

Pulling the lever back will cycle through

the light options.

Inserting the key will

start the engine sound.
