TACHOMETER and TRIGGER Connections
If your system includes the TACH or TRIG options, be sure to use the
provided cables to make the necessary connections.
In multi-camera networks, these connections are made to only one camera.
That camera is considered to be the ‘controller’ (also called the DHCP
server).
Applications using a tachometer (TACH) should have the provided ferrite
installed on the cable to help eliminate ‘noise’.
In applications with a bottom read camera, the trigger (TRIG) may be
connected it.
TACH TRIG
NOTE:
In systems that involve application-specific requirements, it is
possible that light curtains and / or an Accu-Sort Photoeye/Tach Generator
may be used instead of the standard devices. See any application-specific
drawing(s) for details on installing and wiring these devices.
In-camera Dimensioning Connections
If your system includes the in-camera dimensioning option, the 2-line by 20-
character remote display option is connected to the FOCUS port of the top-
read (dimensioning-enabled) camera.
(See also Appendix G.)
Raw Image Export (RIE) Connections
If your system includes the raw image export option, the destination device
that will be receiving the raw images from the camera needs to be connected
to the RIE output of the RIE-enabled camera(s).
