The icon will appear different based on the camera orientation.
Prerequisites:
Know the top camera angle required by the system.
It will be one of the following:
15-degrees (positive angle)
15-degrees (negative angle)
8-degrees (positive angle, used in dimensioning systems)
RangeFinder must already be calibrated
Mirror must already be aligned
Tools Required:
Small calibration box
Camera Scan Line Target
Static Focus Target
Tape measure
Laptop with Install Wizard connected to camera system
NOTE:
The Small Calibration Box and targets are provided in the

for either Top-Front or
Top-Back. Camera angle facing upstream is negative (Top-Front).
Camera angle facing downstream is positive (Top-Back).
3. Use the Camera Scan Line Target to determine the distance from the
camera to the focus source (RangeFinder). Enter this measurement as
the
X Scan Offset
.
4. Use the small calibration box and Camera Scan Line Target to determine
the
X Distance.
5. The system uses the previously entered information to compute the
camera’s read angle. Do not change unless otherwise instructed.
6. Use the Static Focus Target to determine the camera’s far working
distance.
7. Review the
Calibration Results Summary
for the camera.
NOTE:
The wizards for other camera orientations function in a similar
manner. Follow the camera wizard’s step-by-step instructions to complete
the auto-calibration for a multi-camera system.
