Dimensioning Operations
During normal operations, if your AV6010 Camera System is also equipped
to perform dimensioning, there are several functions that can be useful to
monitor system status and check dimensioning data, including:
Daily verification
Viewing measurement data
Dimensioning status
Viewing long term storage
To verify the dimensioning system is calibrated:
It is recommended to perform dimensioning verification once per day (or
once per shift). This requires a box of known dimensions and the
Dimensioning Wizard. (See
Dimensioning Wizard
procedure in
Chapter 5
.)
To view measurement data:
1. Login as a
Monitor
user.
2. Go to
Diagnostics > System Status
.
3. The measurement data is shown in the scrollable part of the screen.
(Reference the
Bar Code or Dimensions (LxWxH)
column.)
4. This data can also be viewed in the
Diagnostics > Camera Status
and
Diagnostics > Camera Image
screens.
To check the dimensioning status:
1. Login as a
Monitor
user.
2. Go to
Diagnostics > Top > Camera Status
.
3. Under the Error Codes, you will see one of two message:
a. the
4026
code indicates that dimensioning is ready.
b.
4025 Error: Dimensioning NOT Ready
, is displayed, use the ‘
verify
dimensioning’ process
to check the system.
