General Mounting Guidelines
As you plan the installation of the AV6010 Camera(s) and RangeFinder, be
sure to keep the following guidelines in mind:
Determine the proper AV6010 orientation and position as it relates to the
scanning area and transport direction.
With the exception of lifting the AV6010 camera(s) into position on the
mounting structure, all mounting structure assembly and equipment
installation can be performed by one installer.
Applications using an Accu-Sort mounting structure define the AV6010
location on the application-specific drawings provided with your system
and are pre-marked on the structure.
Plan your mechanical installation based on the application’s electrical
requirements
. See Electrical Installation Guidelines in Chapter 4
.
It is important that you follow all safety precautions when installing, setting
up, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting or replacing any Accu-Sort
products, parts or related equipment.
See Chapter 2, Safety
.

Physical Support Requirements
For details on the weight of the AV6010 Camera and RangeFinder, see
Appendix A
. Multiple-camera systems and scanning tunnels may include
further details on the physical support requirements with any application-
specific documentation provided.
Vibration Limitations
The AV6010 Camera and RangeFinder are designed and tested to withstand
continuous sine wave vibrations between 10 and 500 hertz (limited to a
displacement of 0.0157 inches [0.40 mm] for frequencies between 10 and 50
Hz and limited to 2 G acceleration for frequencies between 50 and 500 Hz).
