Placement of Snap-On Ferrites on Cables
To Attach the Ferrites:
Snap two ferrites to each Ethernet or serial cable like those shown in the
image on page 1. Place the ferrites approximately the distance shown
from the end of the cable (close to the AV6010).
Wiring Routing
Route wiring to the AV6010’s connector panel through the wiring channels
on the Accu-Sort mounting structure.

Power Requirements
IMPORTANT:
When planning your installation wiring, remember all power
connections must be quick-disconnect.
See the
Power Consumption Estimates
table in
Appendix A
to determine the
needs for your installation. The table provides details for single-camera and
multiple-camera applications.
Power Supply Connections
CAUTION:
While performing the following wiring connection procedures,
be sure to follow all safety procedures regarding high-voltage as outlined in
Chapter 2, Safety
. No power should be applied to any device until all wiring
is completed and checked for accuracy.
REMEMBER:
The socket-outlet must be installed near the AV6010’s power
supply. The outlet must be a readily accessible disconnect device. The IEC
connector of the AV6010’s power supply provides the necessary quick-
disconnect.
