WIRE DIAMETER &
RANSMISSION CHART
The transmission distance listed below are
farthest ones recommended for each given wire
diameter when the 24V AC voltage loss ratio is
below 10% (for equipment powered by AC, the
allowed maximum voltage loss ratio is 10%).
For example, a set of equipment with nominal
power as 80VA, installed 35 feet (10m) away
from transformer, needs a wire with a
minimum diameter of 0.8000mm.
