Use this option to select the modem dialout settings.  From the Extended Menu,
select Modem Dialout Setup.

When connected to a modem, the Micromon is able to make telephone calls to up
to five pre-programmed numbers whenever an alarm is detected (see Alarm
Actions section).  Alternatively, individual alarms detected for a particular point can
be routed to a particular telephone number.  It can also call a radio pager to alert a
duty engineer.  Three types of pager can be supported - Tone only, Numeric and
Alphanumeric.  The message that is sent can also be defined.
Note:  Support for the TAP pager protocol may vary from country to country.

Use the ‘

’ or ‘

’ keys to scroll through the dialout numbers and complete the

fields for each device as described below:

Use this field to specify the type of device which is connected to the specified
telephone number.  The options are as follows:

NO  DIAL

Indicates the Micromon will not dialout.

GSM SMS

Indicates that a RS232/GSM modem device is connected. Sends
text messages to a GSM mobile phone and receives messages.

For information on this feature refer to document Functional
Description RC.8A.M.

DOWNLOAD Indicates that a computer is connected (directly or remotely)

running Danfoss Central Station software. If the line is busy,
the telephone number will be dialled up to four times (8 bit, No

Parity, 1 Stop Bit).

AKM

Indicates that a computer is connected (directly or remotely)
running Danfoss 'AKM' software. If remotely, dialout attempts will
continue and after every 10 attempts the alarm relay will reset the
modem.
Note: Modem must be wired in conjunction with the alarm relay

(refer to appendix A).

BEEPER

Indicates that a beeper type pager is connected.  The system

dials the appropriate telephone number and then disconnects.

As there is no security associated with this option, the telephone

number is always dialled twice unless the busy tone is received.

MESSAGE7 Indicates that a 7 bit modem is connected with a printer

 attached.

(7 bit, Even Parity, 1 Stop Bit) (normally used in France).

MESSAGE8 Indicates that a 8 bit modem is connected with a printer

 attached.

(8 bit, No Parity, 1 Stop Bit) (normally used in UK).
