ISCALE
ISCALE
is an analog current scale factor that scales (1) the analog input
ANIN
for OPMODE 3 (analog torque mode), and (2) the analog output
for ANOUT=1 or 3. A 10 V input provides the percentage of
DIPEAK
defined by
ISCALE
. Units for
ISCALE
are 0.1%. This variable may be
either higher or lower than 100%, but the actual analog I/O is limited by
the application current limit (
ILIM
). If ISCALE = 1000 and a 10 V
command is given , 100% of Peak Current (or
DIPEAK
) is commanded.
The default
ISCALE
values in the SERVO
STAR
CD are defined so 8
volts at the input or output is equal to 2*
DICONT
. This leaves a 25%
margin for overshoot at the controller.
CD10
Where DIPEAK=2*DICONT, the default value of
ISCALE
is 1250.
This is so 8 volts (not 10) at the input is equal to 2*
DICONT
(or
DIPEAK
). The equation is:
ISCALE = 1250 then:
8 V command *1250/10 = 1000 = DIPEAK = 2*DICONT
CD03 and CD06
Where DIPEAK=3*DICONT, the default value of
ISCALE
is 833.
This is so 8 volts at the input is equal to 2*
DICONT
. In this case,
2*DICONT is equal to 2/3*DIPEAK. If ISCALE = 833 then:
8 volt command *833/10 = 666 = 2/3*DIPEAK = 2*DICONT
If ISCALE = 1250 then:
8 volt command *1250/10 = 1000 = DIPEAK = 3*DICONT
