DISASSEMBLY
Before maintaining brakes, when the axle is installed on the
vehicle, follow all safety instructions in the Original Equip-
ment Manufacturer (OEM) manual that came with the vehi-
cle.
FIGURE 1: Insert pressure into cylinder (4) in order to release
the brakes.
NOTE:
If the machine hydraulic system cannot be used, use an
external manual pump.
FIGURE 2: Loosen and remove the external nut (7).

FIGURE 3: Release the pressure in the cylinder and discon-
nect the pressure delivery tube.
Remove the fulcrum pin (3) from the cylinder (4) complete with
washers (12).
FIGURE 4: Remove the cylinder assembly (4) complete with
rod (5), internal nut (6) and support (8).
FIGURE 5: Remove the snap ring (1) that checks the support
(8) and remove the spacer (2).
