4) Press the
UP
and
DOWN
arrow keys to scroll the highlighted value.
5) Press the
LEFT
and
RIGHT
arrow keys to scroll the digit locations.
6) Repeat steps
4 & 5
until the known thickness value is correctly displayed.
7) Press the
OK
key to calculate the velocity and return to the menu screen, or
ESC
to cancel the one point calibration.
Note:
A velocity and zero value will be calculated and displayed in the fields a
shown above.
8) Finally, press the
MEAS
key to return to the measurement screen.
In order to trigger on anything that’s detected in the calibrated range, the
boundaries of the gate must be adjusted to include the entire range.
Caution:
in both z-cross & flank detection settings, the first signal to cross the gate will be
triggered on. However, if the
peak
detection setting has been enabled, the
signal with the most amplitude will be detected.
