7.1.3 Deleting errors, unlocking the firing unit
Locking errors detected by the firing unit can only be un-
locked manually directly on the boiler.
Requirements: The cause of the fault has been rectified, the
burner is connected to the electrical system.
1. Switch on the Daikin heat generator.
2. Press the Exit key (fig. 7-3) for at least 5 s.
The
"Special Level"
menu is displayed.
3. Use the rotary button to select the
"FA failure"
level.
Error code and "Reset?" request is displayed.
4. Use the rotary button to select "Yes".
5. Confirm the selection with a brief push of the rotary button.
The error is reset.
6. Cancellation and jump back by pushing the Exit button again.
7.1.4 Rectifying faults
– Contactor triggered:
Nothing shown on the control unit display.
●
Search for and rectify causes.
●
Start the system again.
If the cause has been rectified, the system continues to
work normally.
– Contactor not triggered:
a) No error codes are shown, but the system is not working
properly.
●
Search for and rectify causes.
Once the cause has been eliminated, the system contin-
ues to work normally.
b) Error codes are displayed as long as fault conditions are
present.
●
Search for and rectify faults (see chap. 7.3).
●
Unlock the system (see chap. 7.1.3).
Once the cause has been eliminated, the system contin-
ues to work normally.
The cause of the most recent error is saved in the
device and can be reconstructed even after a power
failure when the device is restarted.

WARNING!
Risk of burns from a very hot boiler body in the
event of an STL fault.
●
Do no let any metallic parts come into contact
with the boiler.
●
Let the boiler cool down.
●
Wear protective gloves.
To ensure that the error is not caused by incorrect set-
tings, reset all parameters to the factory settings before
any possible replacement of components (see
chap. 3.6.6).
If it is not possible to determine the cause of the fault, please
consult a Daikin service technician.
Please keep the essential device data ready for this (procedure,
fig. 7-4):
– Type and manufacturer number of the Daikin heat gener-
ator (see heat generator type plate).
– Software versions (see fig. 7-4) of:
a: RoCon B1 control unit [Sw Nr B1/U1]
b: RoCon BE1 control panel [Sw Nr Controller]
c: Firing unit [Sw Nr FA]
– For optional RoCon system components:
EHS157034 [Sw Nr B1/U1]
EHS157068 [Sw Nr mixing valve]
