Faulty Fin Thermistor

Outdoor Unit

Malfunction 
Detection

Faulty fin thermistor is detected using the temperature detected by the fin.

Malfunction 
Decision 
Conditions

When the detected temperature came to 120°C or higher, or to -30°C or lower

"

When faulty fin thermistor is detected once, the system shuts down. 
(The 1-time counter automatically resets itself when cause of malfunction is resolved.)

Supposed 
Causes

"

Faulty sensor provided inside power transistor.

Troubleshooting

Start

Replace sensor provided 
inside power transistor.

Reset normally.
Could be outside causes 
other than defect.

Caution

Be sure to turn off power switch before connect or disconnect connector, 
or parts damage may be occurred.

Turn the power supply off 
once and then back on.

Is P4 displayed again?
