Removal and installation

CAB SUSPENSION

4.8 REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, CAB LOCKING MECHANISM

Only use approved lifting
equipment.
Comply with general safety
instructions when working with
lifting equipment.

Removing cab locking mechanism

Tilt the cab until it is released from the cab
lock.

Support the cab by means of a hoist.

Switch the tilting pump to reverse tilting.

Remove the approximation switch
connector (C) at the right-hand side.

Remove the hydraulic line (D) and plug it.
Collect any oil flowing out of the system.

Remove the attachment bolts (A and B).

Remove the cab lock.

Installing cab lock mechanism

Install the cab lock and hand-tighten the
attachment bolts.

Connect the connector (C) and fit the
hydraulic line (D).

Carefully tilt the cab back to the normal
driving position. When doing so, ensure that
the cab locks are open.

Tighten the attachment bolts and nut to the
specified tightening torque, see “Technical
data-.

Bleed the tilting mechanism.
