Caution
Do not forget to
enable
the JB after installation.
Caution
If the firmware version is not displayed the Modbus address is wrong (set by DIP switches in the
JB). The JB needs to
be deleted and newly created
with the correct Modbus address.
Caution
JB version 2: In the JB version 2 the
type of JB configured
needs to be the same as configured
in the JB itself (set by DIP switches in the JB), otherwise the communication will not work!
Caution
JB version 3.x and 4.x: Is the system
online
configured, JB version 3.x and 4.x automatically
detects the
type
of JB, if the correct Modbus address is entered.
Caution
RS-485 communication signal must be terminated in the last JB4.x in daisy chain. If only one
JB4.x is configured the termination is done in this Junction Box. Please check the Indoor
Installation Manual for detailed information.
Note:
The Junction Box 4.x gives the possibility to connect the following devices:
All Sensor Model P
RF-Detectors
Temperature Detector
Be aware that
each device
needs a different cable.
