18.3 Hybrid Cable Test
Caution
- Before starting this test all Junction Box
must be disabled
, also the PDL-3x
version in case the Tower Meter is installed.
To test the cable and mounted hybrid connectors after installation, a special
Hybrid cable Test
Box FOTB – 0x
has been developed by DAC System.
Caution
The first Test BOX, Part-No: FOTB-01 is only
supporting the test modus a s described in
18.3.1.
The FOTB-02 is supporting
all
test modus
described.
18.3.1 Test Modus – Feeder Cable Data Logger – first Junction Box:
After the hybrid cable is installed and connectors are assembled, the test box can be connected
to the hybrid cable on the JB side up in the tower or before installation for cable testing.
Be sure
now
the cable is connected to the DL/PDL. The DL/PDL is started (takes max. 2 minutes), after
the green lamp “Operating” is on, the test can be started, see user interaction below.
With this test the hybrid feed cable from the DL/PDL to the first JB 3.x is tested (on the ground
or already installed).
