Use the following steps to associate one or more interfaces with a captive portal.

Select the desired captive portal from the CP Configuration list.

Select the interface or interfaces from the Interface List. To select more than one interface, hold the Ctrl key and click
multiple interfaces.

Use the following steps to remove an interface from the Associated Interfaces list for a captive portal.

Select the desired captive portal from the CP Configuration list.

In the Associated Interfaces field, select the interface or interfaces to remove. To select more than one interface, hold
the Ctrl key and click multiple interfaces.

Delete
.
The interface is removed from the Associated Interface list and appears in the Interface List.
Click
Refresh
to update the screen with the most current information.
Viewing the Captive Portal Global Status
The
CP Global Status
page contains a variety of information about the CP feature. From the
CP Global Status
page, you
can access information about the CP activity and interfaces.
To view captive portal status information, click
Security > Captive Portal > CP Status
.

Field
Description
CP Configuration
Lists the captive portals configured on the switch by number and name.
Associated Interfaces
Lists the interfaces that are currently associated with the selected captive portal. Wireless
interfaces are identified by the wireless network number and SSID. Physical (wired) interfaces
are identified by the Port Description that includes slot number, port number, and interface
type.
Interface List
Lists the interfaces available on the switch that are not currently associated with a CP.
Wireless interfaces are identified by the wireless network number and SSID. Physical (wired)
interfaces are identified by the Port Description that includes slot number, port number, and
interface type. The range is an integer.
Note:
When you associate an interface with a captive portal, the interface is removed from the Interface List. Each
interface can be associated with only one CP at a time.
