By default the wireless security level is set to
None
. This means that any wireless
client can connect to the router without the need of any security.
Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP)
is any entry level wireless security method that we
can use to prevent unauthorized wireless access to this router. WEP is not a very
secure option, but it is better than no wireless security.
In this section we can configure the following parameters.
WEP Key:
Enter the wireless WEP key used here. This key must be either 13
ASCII characters long or 26 Hexadecimal characters long.
